JetTransfer Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to JetTransfer booker, driver, and admin applications and related APIs used by enterprise tenants and their personnel.

2. Data We Process

Account identifiers, company profile details, vehicle and compliance metadata, booking/job lifecycle data, location data for active dispatch/tracking, and operational audit trails. For Booker address selection, this can also include address search text, provider place identifiers, and a provisional coordinate chosen in the map picker.

3. Purpose

Service delivery (address lookup, booking, dispatch, scheduling, tracking), legal/compliance obligations, fraud prevention, incident response, tenant reporting, and support workflows.

4. Booker Address Search and Map Picker

Booker is address-first: the Create flow uses focused provider autocomplete and validated saved places, not recent jobs, job stops, routes, shortcuts, or local history. The map is an explicit full-screen fallback and is not loaded while Create is idle.

Booker checks or requests foreground location only after you tap its Locate control inside the open picker. It uses one position lookup to move a provisional pin; it does not use background location or a continuous location stream. The picker commits its address and coordinate to a booking or saved place only after you tap Use this location.

Address search text, provider place identifiers, and provisional coordinates used for autocomplete, place details, or reverse geocoding may pass through the JetTransfer API to the configured Maps provider and may enter bounded provider, cache, quota, or usage retention. Cancelling the picker prevents commitment to app state but cannot recall a request already sent.

Create can select a validated saved place but cannot create or manage one. Saved-place creation and management are available only under Profile/Settings → Saved Places.

5. Security Controls

Encryption in transit, controlled access, tenant scoping, immutable audit logging, short-lived signed document URLs, and rotation policies for secrets/keys.

6. Retention & Deletion

Retention and deletion are managed by policy and legal basis. See Data Policy for retention classes and deletion request handling.
